The automatic paper tube making machine (usually referred to as a spiral winding machine or flat winding machine) is an automated equipment used to spiral or parallel wind multiple layers of paper tape (kraft paper, yarn tube paper, color printing paper, etc.) and bond them into high-strength paper tubes through adhesives.

Working principle: Multiple rolls of raw paper (cut into strips) are continuously wound on a high-speed rotating core shaft through multiple fixed angle paper guides in a spiral winding manner (the paper tape forms a certain angle with the core axis, usually 45 ° -85 °). Apply glue between each layer of paper, cure by heating or natural drying, form seamless long tubes, and then cut according to a fixed length.

Features:

Can produce ultra long paper tubes (theoretically infinitely long).

The pipe wall structure is uniform and has high compressive strength, but there are spiral joints on the end face.

The production speed is extremely fast and the efficiency is high, making it the mainstream model for industrial mass production.

Mainly used for large roll industrial pipes in chemical fiber, film, paper, leather and other industries.

2. Flat roll pipe rolling machine (parallel pipe rolling machine)

Working principle: Wrap a certain width of paper tape parallel to the core axis layer by layer on the core axis. The seams of each layer are staggered, ultimately forming a structure resembling a ‘rolled heart’.

Features:

The end face of the produced paper tube is flat, without spiral patterns, and has a better appearance.

The interlayer bonding force of paper tubes is strong and the rigidity is better, but the length is limited by the width of the paper.

The production speed is relatively slow.

Mainly used for high-end textile tube cores, precision packaging tubes, fireworks barrels and other products with special requirements for end face and strength.
