The Automatic partition assembly machine (also known as cardboard partition machine, cardboard grid machine, etc.) is an automated equipment used for producing cardboard lining partitions. Its testing process is a key link to ensure the quality of the equipment at the factory, normal operation after installation, and stable production in the future.
After the equipment is manufactured, factory testing is conducted in the factory. The purpose is to verify whether the design, assembly, and basic functions of the equipment meet the technical requirements of the contract.
1. Mechanical and safety inspection of cardboard grid inserting machine
Structural inspection: Confirm that the core structural components such as the frame, transmission shaft, and guide rail are not deformed and installed firmly.
Inspection of moving parts: Check whether all moving parts such as cylinders, motors, bearings, chains, belts, etc. are installed correctly and whether lubrication is in place.
Safety protection inspection: Confirm that all protective covers, emergency stop buttons, safety light barriers/door lock switches are complete and effective, and comply with safety standards (such as CE or GB standards).
2. Electrical and control system testing of paper cardboard partition assembly machine
Distribution inspection: Check whether the wiring of the main circuit and control circuit is correct and secure, and whether the grounding is reliable.
Sensor testing: Test photoelectric sensors, proximity switches, encoders, etc. one by one to ensure accurate and stable signal triggering.
Perform component testing: Test whether the steering, speed, and positioning of all motors (servo/stepper/variable frequency) are accurate; Test whether all solenoid valves and cylinders operate smoothly.
HMI/PLC testing: Check whether the human-machine interface operation is smooth, and whether the parameter setting, storage, and calling functions are normal. Verify PLC program logic and test various automatic and manual modes.
No load linkage test
Without inserting cardboard, the entire machine is powered and ventilated, running in sections at the designed speed of low, medium, and high speeds.
Observe whether the timing of actions at each workstation is coordinated, and whether there is interference, abnormal noise, or abnormal vibration.
Test the stability of continuous operation of the equipment (usually requiring no-load operation for 2-4 hours or more).
Special testing of core functions of corrugated cardboard partition assembler machine
Paper feeding and separation unit: Test the smoothness of paper feeding on the Feida or lifting platform, and whether the paper separator can reliably separate individual cardboard sheets.
Indentation/chamfering unit (if any): Test whether the indentation depth and position are uniform and consistent, and whether the waste discharge is smooth.
Grid forming unit (core):
Mold action test: Test whether the expansion, contraction, and lifting actions of all inserts, push rods, and forming blocks are accurate and in place.
Synchronization test: Check the synchronization accuracy of multiple cutters/molds at high speed.
Discharge and stacking unit: Test whether the finished products are pushed out, transported, counted, and stacked neatly, and whether the stacking height is accurate.
Confirmation of documents and materials attached to the cardboard partition inserting machine
Check if the random technical documents (electrical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, operation manuals, maintenance manuals, spare parts lists) are complete.
Record test data and both parties sign the ‘Factory Test Report’.
