The full automatic folding gluing machine is a device used for automated forming of cardboard boxes, and its working principle can be divided into the following core steps:

1. Paperboard conveying and positioning

Paper feeding system: The cardboard is transported by vacuum suction belt or flat belt, and the vacuum suction method is more accurate in positioning but has higher maintenance costs.

Adjustment of the baffle: The height of the front baffle is 1.5 times the thickness of the cardboard, and the size of the rear baffle is 2-3mm larger than the cardboard to ensure stable positioning of the cardboard.

2. Coating and bonding

Glue application method: divided into two types: spray glue (precise glue amount, easy adjustment) and glue application (simple mechanism). The glue application system needs to be combined with a flip down folding.

Adhesive type: commonly used hot melt resin or latex adhesive, requiring fast bonding speed and no mold or deterioration.

Compression control: The gap between the glue wheels should be 1mm lower than the thickness of the cardboard (0.5mm for single corrugated cardboard), and the glue position should be 7mm away from the slotting blade to avoid glue overflow or poor adhesion.

3. Folding and Forming full automatic folding gluing machine

Folding mechanism: Adopting the inclined wheel and belt mode, the cover is bent and pressed by the belt to ensure the molding effect.

Pressure curing: A mechanical device applies pressure to the bonding area and accelerates the curing of the adhesive by combining it with a heating or air drying device.

4. Finished product output

Counting Stacking: Automatic counting and stacking output (adjustable from 1-99 sheets), some equipment is equipped with fans to assist in air drying to reduce defective products.

Collaborative production: can be combined with unboxing machines, palletizing machines, etc. to form an automatic corrugated box folder gluer machine production line, achieving full process automation from paper feeding to box sealing.
